2 Krew Security is seeking a qualified sales manager who will play a vital role in obtaining company revenue growth targets through their own sales skills as well as the leadership of a team of driven sales professionals. The ideal sales manager has deep experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We’re looking for a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills — someone with a successful track record who can inspire the same performance in others. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales professionals while building and maintaining a high-performance team. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team’s potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leverages various contact methods to grow YoY results
  • Sells and assists in the design of security solutions for new and existing customers.
  • Possesses the ability to present proposals and solutions to all levels of staff, including executives
  • Maintains a strong understanding of market share and competitor strategies
  • Maintains an awareness of industry/market trends, technical developments and informs leadership of potential impacts
  • Ensures milestones in the sales process are continuously met
  • Ensures information for any opportunity, including self and department, is accurate and up to date within the company’s operating systems
  • Manages key accounts as needed by sustaining rapport with stakeholders through making periodic visits, exploring specific needs, and anticipating new opportunities
  • Attends a minimum of one industry-specific networking event each month
  • Meets or exceeds a monthly sales quota for both self and department. Presents a bi-weekly report to the leadership team
  • Updates knowledge by participating in continual education through sales and vendor-specific training
  • Maintains status in professional and industry-specific organizations

Leadership:

  • Hires, trains, motivates, and advises a team of sales professionals
  • Develops business case for new opportunities and proposes strategic approaches to winning bids
  • Holds daily/weekly check-ins with sales members to review quotas and set individual/team goals
  • Manages month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assists with strategic planning as well as budget creation and department goal setting
  • Analyzes performance data, identifies gaps within the team, formulates a plan, and presents it to leadership
  • Assigns territories and sets quotas for the sales team
  • Reviews, updates, writes, and communicates policies and procedures to improve the department’s effectiveness
  • Assists the company to ensure the mission, vision, and values are honored
  • Continuously develops necessary skills for hiring, training, and leading team members as well as staying current on sales tactics

Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • 3 years of proven experience as a sales manager
  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, and well organized.
  • Proficiency in basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrates a competitive, positive attitude, quickly adapts to different situations, and recovers from setbacks
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and project concepts to interpret, translate, and explain detailed technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Attends and participates in all required company meetings
  • Valid driver’s license
  • No criminal background
  • Regular travel is required
  • Minimum of 40 hours per week. Some night and weekend work may be required
